Classes:
These are the classes which are available for your character in The World//Fragment002.
Each class has their own specialization, and therefore has their own advantages and disadvantages.

Remember to take the playing style of each class into careful consideration when making your decision.

The number of :bulletblue: suggests relative skill to play the classes.
However, decisions should be made by the player alone.

Melee Classes

:bulletgreen:
Blade Brandier:
Use one medium-sized, one-handed blade.  the basic "fighter" class, but is also one of the most balanced and highest performing specializations to compensate for not having much in the way of special techniques.  It is one of the commonly played classes and is also considered the easiest.
medium reach, decent health with moderate defense
moderately high damage with high stability
decent speed and flexibility.

:bulletgreen:
Twin Blade:
Wields dual blades.  Specializes in speed but is one of the most well rounded; they are equipped with a pair of knives or short swords as weapons and use techniques that allow them to attack relentlessly and leave no opening for their opponent to retaliate.
moderately short reach, low health with decent defense
medium damage with high stability
swift combo chain attacks, high character mobility

:bulletgreen:
Edge Punisher:
Wield huge, double-handed Broadswords.  They excel at physical attacks, especially against armored foes.  They are much slower to compensate for their power.  They can equip heavy armor and therefore have higher defenses.
medium-far reach, decent health with high defense
very high damage with moderate stability
slow in movement

:bulletyellow::bulletyellow:
Tribal Grappler:
Using their own fists as weapons, Grapplers equip gauntlets (ranging from lightweight types to oversized, paw-like gauntlets).  They have very high speed and HP.  However they have very low defenses, making it crucial to pay attention in battle.
short reach, high health with low defense
medium damage with medium stability
very fast moves with the highest agility

:bulletyellow::bulletyellow:
Lord Partizan:
Wield giant lances. They have good range attacks, but don’t excel at sweeping an area like Flick Reapers.  Defense and physical attack stats are very high, with magical attacks being their only real weakness.  They’re also very monster-oriented, with armor piercing and anti-air weapons and skills.  Can be used to cause the most immediate damage.
far reaching, high health with high defense
immense damage with low stability
slow attacks with low mobility

:bulletyellow::bulletyellow:
Flick Reaper:
Wield giant scythes to attack with sweeping movements.  Vulnerable to long range attacks, but work best in medium range where their moves can keep multiple enemies at a distance. Very effective against other melee classes.
medium reach, decent health with light defense
varying damage with less stability
very fast attacks, but movement is slower

Ranged Classes

:bulletorange::bulletorange::bulletorange:
Harvest Cleric:
Wielding staves, Clerics specialize in healing magic.  Their staves can be used in melee combat, but other than the books Shadow Warlocks use, they’re weaker than any other weapon.  They learn skills very fast, but they learn no (martial) arts. For the first few levels, they have no offensive spells. They perform their best when working in conjunction with other offensive classes.
support magic with ranged magic, lower health with light defense
low damage with high stability
access to many support spells and few offensive spells

:bulletorange::bulletorange::bulletorange:
Macabre Dancer:
They use fan-like weapons to cut their enemies with the bladed tips in a battle form that resembles dance.  They effect status and make parameter changes and learn both healing and attack magic.  They don’t learn any arts but gain spells quickly.
access to ranged magic, medium health with light defense
moderately high damage with decent stability
potential to control any fight with a wide range of effect spells

:bulletorange::bulletorange::bulletorange:
Shadow Warlock:
They carry Grimoires, or large tomes that give bonuses to their magic and elemental stats like the Clerics’ staves.  They can be used in melee, but have very little effect.  To make up for their weak physical attack, grimoires give a higher magic bonus.  Also gains spells quickly, but learn no arts While they are among the most powerful in terms of offense, they also are among the weakest physically.
Specializes in offensive ranged magic, minimal health with light defense
immense magic damage with high stability
many powerful offensive spells and dark effect spells for a relentless assault

:bulletorange::bulletorange::bulletorange:
Steam Gunner:
Wielding Steam-powered bayonets, they are the physical equivalent of Shadow Warlocks.  Their shots are skills that operate the same way spells do, but deal physical damage instead.  They have greater range than any other physical hit and their physical attacks progress faster than any class.  However, like spell casters they lack any physical attack special types (i.e. “rapid attacks, “hold and release”) that most classes have.
ranged physical damage, moderate health with light defense
high damage with high stability
moderate to fast repeating damage, but only decent character movement

Adept Rogue

:bulletred::bulletred::bulletred::bulletred:
Adept Rogue :
The Rogues are the jack-of-all-trades in the game and are able to aquire more “forms” or skills through Job Extend which allows them to use a different type of weapon.  They level up a lot slower than the other classes, but when fully leveled, had access to more skills than any other class.
You may pick up to three classes to augment your Adept Rogue with, given that the cumulative points do not exceed 4. The class-point list is as follows:

Blade Brandier - 1 Point
Edge Punisher - 1 Point
Twin Blade - 1 Point
Flick Reaper - 2 Points
Lord Partizan - 2 Points
Tribal Grappler - 2 Points
Macabre Dancer - 3 Points
Harvest Cleric - 3 Points
Shadow Warlock - 3 Points
Steam Gunner - 3 Points

NOTE FOR PLAYERS: Wave Symbols
Wave symbols are glyphs that posses elemental powers in The World.  You can use them to increase the elemental attributes of your PC(s).  They’re very key to The World, so it would probably be in your best interest to use them.  Please follow the link to get a full chart and diagram of the various glyphs you can use: dothack.wikia.com/wiki/Wave_Sy…
